TORRANCE, Calif., March 14, 2020 - The Torrance Certified Farmers' Market will close to the public this Tuesday, March 17 due to California Department of Public Health requirements in reaction to the COVID-19 virus. These precautions are being taken to protect people attending and working at the event and the local community from COVID-19 infection; and to reduce community transmission and introductions of COVID-19 into new communities.
The City of Torrance has always held the well-being and health of our community as a priority. Staff will reassess on a weekly basis and continue to monitor COVID-19 and its effect on the public closely. ### Comments are closed.
