Torrance Refuse and Recycling Collection Resumes Normal Schedule

3/21/2020

Torrance's residential solid waste (black bin), green waste (green bin) and recycling (blue or gray bin) collection resumes its regular schedule on Monday, March 23. Last week recycling collection was delayed 1 day due to a temporary re-prioritization of services.  We greatly appreciate your patience. If there is a need to again re-prioritize services due to COVID-19, we will again prioritize collection of solid waste and green waste as first priority and delay recycling collection by 1 day. In that situation, we ask any resident whose recycling container is less than 50% full NOT TO set out their container for 1 week, if possible. You may contact Public Works-Sanitation at 310-781-6900 for questions.
